Monthly Resource: Raising a Gen Alpha Kid

Dear Parents,

If you're raising a Gen Alpha kid, you are parenting in a world that looks nothing like the one you grew up in. These kids have been swiping screens since before they could talk, asking deep questions from an early age, and they are incredibly aware of their emotions. They hear adults talk about diversity and politics, and they are influenced by the digital world more than any generation before them. Thinking about all of that can feel overwhelming. But we have to recognize that leading our kids in this world at this time in history is a huge opportunity. As Christian parents, we’re invited to lean in with intentionality, not fear. Gen Alpha needs to see faith lived out authentically at home, to be grounded in God’s truth, and to know they can explore their questions and doubts in a safe place. This month, we talk about what it looks like to disciple this next generation, one meaningful moment, one honest conversation, and one prayer at a time.
